Wan Wan Thai Café, situated above Aroy Dee Thai Kitchen in Hotel G, exudes a delightful garden-themed atmosphere, complete with lush greenery and eye-catching neon-lit sign boards. The interior of the establishment is tastefully designed, resulting in a chic and inviting environment that is perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy photos.
If you're unsure about what to order at Wan Wan Thai Café, we highly recommend trying the Shibuya Toasts. One of the standout items on the menu is the Kaya Toast, which is generously filled with the local favorite Kaya spread. We found the Kaya Toast to be exceptionally thick and rich, and it comes with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream which creates the perfect balance of hot and cold sensations in your mouth. The exterior of the toast is crispy, while the inside is soft and buttery, infused with the delicious kaya jam that has a delightful coconut flavor and subtle hints of fragrant pandan. Moreover, the toast absorbs the melted ice cream and honey drizzles perfectly, creating an indulgent treat that is hard to resist.
The desserts we had at Wan Wan Thai Café were highly enjoyable and satisfied our sweet cravings without being overly sweet. Furthermore, the cafe's convenient location near town and its late closing time of 3am make it an ideal spot for satisfying those late-night dessert cravings. The cozy atmosphere of the café also adds to the appeal and is a place we can definitely see ourselves returning to for more sweet treats in the future.
