In 2022, Nan Yang Dao, a culinary venture led by Malaysian Chef Jackson Chu in collaboration with brothers Wee Liow and Vincent Liow, embarked on a mission to deliver the diverse flavors of Malaysia to discerning palates. With a focus on authentic cuisine from various regions in Malaysia, their menu showcases iconic dishes such as Selayang Curry Noodles, KL Hokkien Mee, and Penang Assam Laksa. Malaysia's culinary landscape is renowned for its vibrant fusion of flavors, and Nanyang Dao is dedicated to bringing these authentic tastes to a broader audience.

One of the standout dishes is the Selayang Big Bowl Curry Noodles. This generous bowl boasts an array of ingredients immersed in a rich, aromatic, and spicy coconut curry gravy. It includes beancurd skin, half a boiled egg, tau pok, long beans, fish balls, fried pork belly, and succulent prawns, all perched atop a generous serving of yellow mee, artfully mixed with crisp bean sprouts. This dish is a sensory delight, a harmonious fusion of textures and flavors that captures the essence of Malaysian cuisine.

Another culinary gem on their menu is the KL Hokkien Mee. Expect thick yellow noodles stir-fried to perfection with a medley of ingredients, including cabbage, fish cake, pork slices, and plump prawns. The noodles are a treat – wonderfully bouncy and thick, enveloped in a rich, dark sauce that infuses every bite with robust flavor.

The Penang Asam Laksa, a beloved Malaysian classic, takes your taste buds on an exquisite journey with its tangy and subtly spicy broth, distinguished by the robust flavor of ikan kembung. This dish is a culinary embodiment of Penang's rich and vibrant heritage, seamlessly blending an array of ingredients to create a harmonious and complex flavor profile that encapsulates the essence of this renowned Malaysian culinary tradition.

To round off the meal on a sweet note, there's the classic Chendol. Loaded with creamy coconut milk and rich gula melaka, it's a delectable dessert. The chewy green rice flour jelly adds a delightful textural contrast to this sweet and coconut-infused delight.
